OFFICE APPROPRIATE
A pair of white trousers and a blouse. That’s what I would wear if I was going to an office everyday. I’m lucky my job allows me to work from home, coffee shops, hotel rooms… and it’s true I tend to wear lots of boyfriend jeans and stripe shirts when I’m working from home, I’m pretty sure you’ve all noticed if you are following me daily on snapchat. But I thought I would share with you from time to time some looks I would wear if I had to go to an office everyday. And this is something I love: a pair of nice trousers, here I am wearing cropped trousers, sort of culotte pants, and a blouse. A blouse with a twist. It looks like I have a choker, I love the sexy details and the open back. What do you think? How do you like to dress for work?
Une paire de pantalon blanc et une blouse. Voilà ce que je porterais si je devais me rendre dans un bureau chaque jour. J’ai de la chance, je l’avoue, je peux travailler depuis chez moi, depuis des petits cafés et des chambres d’hôtel… et c’est vrai que la plupart du temps je porte un jean boyfriend et une marinière, comme vous devez le voir sur snapchat si vous me suivez au quotidien. Mais je me suis dit qu’il serait sympa de partager avec vous de temps à autres des looks que je porterais si je devais me rendre dans un bureau pour un job différent du mien. Et voici une tenue qui me plait particulièrement: un joli pantalon blanc et un top. Un top spécial bien entendu. On dirait que je porte un choker, j’adore les détails sexys et le dos ouvert. Qu’est-ce que vous en pensez? Et vous, qu’est-ce que vous portez pour aller travailler?

I think it depends on what kind of office we are working. Whilst I love this look, it would not be appropriate in my office. I couldn’t wear it myself (and I’m the boss :)) and I certainly wouldn’t let my staff wear it- but I guess people expect their lawyers to dress a certain way. I’ve always found it quite difficult to strike a balance between fashion forward and conservative. I’m bored of suits yet I couldn’t wear separates at court. It’s an everyday struggle but I try to jazz it up with great shoes 🙂
