I think I finished Netflix. LOL. Almost kidding. I’ve watched more series in the last month than I I did in the past year. During this lockdown, you’ve seen me cooking, working out, learning new skills… but like everyone else I have been watching a multitude of series too and thought I would share a list of a few of my current favourites in case you need some inspiration! Don’t hesitate to share with me your favorites too!

Love is Blind

I’m normally not into reality shows but I thought I would give it a try since everyone was talking about it. It’s an interesting experiment about love. People get to talk and date behind a wall so they are testing the theory that love is blind: can you actually fall in love with someone without seeing them. Then they all get to meet their chosen partners and see if the relationship works after they are back in the real world. Anyway it’s addictive… don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Casa de Papel

A group of robbers attempt to carry out the most perfect robbery in Spanish history – stealing 2.4 billion euros from the Royal Mint of Spain. I just finished the last episode of season 4. It’s the kind of show you start watching but then one episode becomes two becomes five… and you can’t stop after you’ve seen the entire season!

Dynasty

Drama, drama, drama… I’ve been hooked after watching one episode only. It follows one of the wealthiest families in America, it’s dramatic and over the top. I love Fallon who is the main character, she is beautiful, rich and bitchy, a young business woman desperate for her father’s recognition. She is mean but you still love her.

We’re put into the head of a stalker who seems to be a hair’s width away from violence. The tension is held well. He is a bookstore manager leaving in NY who crosses paths with a cute and smart girl who wants to be a writer. He starts using the internet and social media as his tools to get close to her. His love for her becomes an obsession. I loved season 1 and wasn’t disappointed at all by season 2.

How to get away with murder

It’s a great show, smart, constantly surprising, with very good acting and each episode is captivating. A group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defense professor become involved in a twisted murder plot. Definitely worth binge watching.
