THE CAPE
Now that Fashion Week is over, even if I still have lots of pics to show you,
I wanted to do a Look of the day post….so this is my outfit today 🙂
Since it’s one of the biggest trends this fall, I’ve decided to swap my coat for a cape.
This season sees everything from fitted capes to oversized ones.
It’s perfect for transition periods: from warm to cool weather
and a great way to have fun with silhouettes this season.
I’ve decided to wear mine with skinny jeans and my new amazing Louboutin studded boots,
but I’m already planning to try the cape with a fitted dress or leather shorts 🙂

Oh my. I have never been convinced that a cape would be a wise investment. Sure, they can be unbelievably elegant, but is that chicness really worth the constant through-draft endured by wearing such a highly impractical item? Maybe I’m a little pathetic about the cold, but generally I like to hit the winter streets in something that has a chance in hell of keeping me warm. This beautiful plaid number however has made me re-think the importance of being able to feel my fingers. It is one of the most covetable pieces I have seen around this season and teamed with subtle black layers, colour-pop skinnies and THOSE boots, utter perfection. X

Je crois avoir compris sur Do it in Paris, que tu es française. Je t’ai croisée devant le Crillon et devant le défilé Isabel Marant pendant la fashion week.
